Hi everyone i'm new to the forums cause i have a question.

I just upgraded my hdd on my macbook and i think i might've done something wrong that i should fix.

What i did was clone my old hdd to my new one with super duper and then just installed it. I'm not sure if i needed to take any other steps after that because it seems like everythings working perfectly.

The thing is that when i went to disk utility i noticed that my new internal after installed came up as two drives? (if that's what you can call it)

I took a screen shot to better explain it.

What i'm wondering is if it should just be shown as one and what should i do to fix this? I'm not exactly computer savvy too, but i also read something about partitioning the drive but i have no idea if i need to do that or not. Thanks for any help in advance!

its fine. thats how a hard drive shows up with one partition. if you had two partitions 3 hard drives would show up, 2 partitions and the main "298.1GB SAMSUNG" hard drive.

heres my hard drives. my main hard drive has one partition and my external has 3.
