Just upgraded my late 2011 MBP with a 2012 MBP - Screen seems better?

Same base model MBP machines, but the screen seems to be showing a better colour to my last one, almost brighter and slightly more vivid. Could this just be the use of a different manufacturer of screen? Is there a way to find out?
