Just upgraded to 8gb ram WOOT!

Just upgraded my pro to 8gb of ram. Now I should be able to run all my vm's without any lag. The battery life of this is much better than my HP.

Congrats! 4gb is just too weak to handle VMs. 8gb is wonderful! If 16gb was closer to $800 I would actually upgrade (that is what I paid for 8gb on my 2k9 MBP) since its very important for my work.

I agree - The 8GB has made a world of difference for me with VM's. My 4GB WIndows 7 VM on my MBP smokes my Thinkpad now.
