Had a preordered an iphone4 from apple that was set to ship on july the 14th, so....i heard that the walmart close to my house had gotten in 30iphones today (only had one on launch) so, i walked in waited for about 30 mins for activation, walmart does employ our best and brightest you know... and got my new iphone....while the people at the apple store about a mile away are still waiting in line for theirs....just thought i would share my experience, first time i had been in a walmart in almost 2 years....

Yes they carry both 16 & 32. I know a Walmart store manager, he said they received 50 of each.
I'd have gladly bought my phone from the slow lady with a femi-mullet that usually works in the shoe department than stand in that line again.
yeah, they told me that the got in 30 and that they only got in the 16gb...this was at the bedford, tx walmart
I timed my apple visit well here in San Antonio. Went in about 10:30 am, no real line but store was crowded. A rep walked up to me and asked if I had credit approval or an established line already, answered yes, walked out with my phone at 11:30. Admit very happy after the fiasco of pre-order hell day of last week.
Screw Walmart I only buy from the Apple store so Apple gets all the money. I want to help make Apple the biggest most powerful corporation in the world. Why should other retailers like Walmart get a cut? let them sell trashy Android phones to trashy Walmart shoppers. Remember Walmart is a competitor to itunes lets not help the competition.
Lol, oh no doubt. I do believe every Wal-Mart in America is employed by the same exact people, who are all caught in some weird dimensional time warp thingy.
Just called about 5 walmarts that are within a 20 mile radius of me. None of them have one, and the one that's actually here in Lynchburg doesn't even sell AT&T. Awesome.
Called Radio Shack, neither of them here will be carrying iPhone 4. They haven't gotten in any at all.
No Apple store within 2.5 hours.
