Just want to confirm if i got a good deal on this mbp

went to bestbuy and i noticed they had a open box 15" mbp unibody the 2.66ghz C2D version. i negotiated with the store manager and was able to get it for 954$ after taxes compared to the original price tag of 1400$. and the computer is brand spankin new from what i see i love this machine so sophisticated...did i score or what?

Open box things always scare me, I'd check the serial number as warranties are not so fun.
