Just Want to Make Sure... New Macbook

I'm currently overseas from my home, so I don't have any of the details for our internet connection with me. I'm planning on just telling my sister's new Macbook that it doesn't have Internet until I get home...

I just want to make sure that it can be reset to use Internet, so I don't go and ruin my sister's present.

Also, can the address and stuff of the person it's registered for be changed later on, in case of a move, for example?

The Internet can be setup again quite easily so no worries there. The registration stuff I'm not so sure about. I'm thinking no, but I'm sure someone here can give you a more definite answer.
