welcome to the forums yet another UK member joins :)

good members here read the forum rules before posting and if you are unsure about posting a question do a search at the top of the page for the subject

so welcome and a happy new year to you ;)

Welcome to the forums!

There's a dedicated thread for these kind of introductions, but most nice newbies get allowed some leeway. And it's rarely any harm in asking (as long as the question hasn't been asked 100s of times before and should be easy to find using the search function... ;)).

Hope you'll have a nice time here at MR. :)

Welcome aboard ... you will find many members here with a truly impressive array of knowledge of all things Mac related and a willingness to assist. Just to prove how nice I am, I pulled myself away from finishing a taped marathon of 14 episodes of The Three Stooges to extend my greeting. Now it's time to wrap it all up ... nyuk, nyuk, nyuk!

It has to be Dan Quail, right? Oops!

I believe that was Dan Quayle. :D

Welcome to all the people who just found their way to our forums!

Now, if they'd just share their new computers with us...

BlueVelvet:

Did you notice that there is a new forum menu option for FAQ/Rules?

As near impossible as it may be to believe, even I knew that. My brain still had a little bit left after 14 episodes of The Three Stooges. I guess the oops didn't help. :)

Once in a long while the MR members actually have something to say about Macs. And as you may have guessed by now, the MR Forums are populated with a variety of charming and ever so slightly demented rogues who will veer off on tangents at the drop of a post. Spelling and grammar are particularly up for mockery, punning is rampant, inside jokes abound, and occassionally someone gets the piss taken in brutal fashion.

I, on the other hand, am perfectly reasonable and sane,

For a Dall's Sheep that is.

Baaaa.

(I da RAM!)

After the incident, you might wonder if the family misspelt their own name. :D I would say more but don't want to cause politcal grief where none was intended.

Anyway, we welcome newcomers with open spuds, errr, arms.

Hello, and welcome to MR Forums. Hope you enjoy your stay here and your Macintosh experience. And if you require any help with anything Macintosh, iPod or other people do a search and then create a thread about it. We will help you to our best efforts. :)
