Just Went To AT&T - New Press Release Tomorrow

Just went to AT&T to get my credit pre-approved for July 11th. I asked the store employee if he knew whether iPhone 3G would be available when the store opened and he said he was not sure. However, he told me that everyone had to be at the store for a conference call tomorrow morning regarding iPhone 3G and July 11th and said there would be a new press release tomorrow. Just thought I'd let everyone know that, if he is correct, there will probably be more clear info and maybe new info coming to light tomorrow.

Hopefully some offical news in the UK too!!!!!!!!
 
Good to hear. Some new news will be helpful. I need to know how much I am going to need to pay to play (being an existing, non-iPhone, ineligible, AT&T customer):cool:

My AT&T store said that they are going to begin training tomorrow July 1 on the iPhone.
 
I just called a couple of my local att stores and I heard the same thing Tomorrow there is supposed to be a Press Release!
 
I hope that Dave or Scott guy calls every AT&T store in the US to try and prove this is not true.

He didn't try to prove anyone wrong; he tried to confirm the information. But who cares? Maybe we can keep the heated debate from that thread out of this one? I for one am enjoying the positive discussion everyone has had so far about this latest rumor. It's a nice change of pace from a lot of the discussions on here lately. :)

Can't wait til the 11th... I guess I should go in tomorrow or soon to go ahead and get everything set up with the AT&T store right?
