Being stupid just makes ti easier for the police to catch them. Less man hours lowers the cost. Even the most intelligent still make mistakes. He may have been another of those that wanted to get caught. That would be one explanation for him entering his home address in the stolen car's computer.
 
thats an awesome way to look at it wdlove, a cry for help maybe or whatever, or just one of those people who want to see how far they can push their limits, hmmmmm i really need to start analyzing stuff more but schools out for now so i guess i can relax just a little

Love it.

Not only did this guy enter his father's address into the car's computer, but he didn't even realize that he wasn't really stealing the car if the owner was still driving it.
