i just got my new 2.4ghz blackbook penyrn and this my first mac. yaya but just wanted to know if its ok to keep the battery charger plugged in even if my battery is 99% full. Thats weird that it says 99% and not 100%. Anyways can anybody care to tell me if this wont overheat my battery

Been doing it for quite awhile...

and to keep an eye on your battery condition, just click on the Silver Apple, and click on "About This Mac" next click on the "More Info..." then click on "Power" and scroll down just a bit and you'll see:

Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 5403
Charge Remaining (mAh): 5403

Cycle Count: 1

These are my stats, and I keep a close eye on them almost to the point of obsession!

thanks

for the help..not only is this my first mac but also my first laptop...really happy i got a macbook this little machine rocks:p
