JVC GZ-MS100 w/ iMovie

I work for JVC and would like to try and help.

In addition to the tips that have already been posted on this thread, I wanted to mention that both iMovie '08 and iMovie '09 have excellent support for the GZ-MS100. Basically, you can now connect the camcorder via USB, and launch iMovie. It will recognize the camcorder, and show you a series of thumbnails, representing each scene you have recorded on the camcorder. From there, it is very easy to select the scenes you want and to then import them directly to iMovie.

If an upgrade to iMovie '08 or iMovie '09 is an option, you may want to consider this.

Regarding the Power Cord, either the model AP-V14U or AP-V18U will work. You can order them by going to the JVC website at http://www.jvcservice.com/Store, or by calling 1-800-252-5722.
