I just purchased this keyboard and hoping that someone who already owns one can help me with an issue I am having in regards to charging.

It says in the Manual and also on the website FAQ
that:

"To charge the battery:
Connect your keyboard to a computer using the Micro-USB charging cable.

The battery status light will pulse green. You should charge your keyboard for 1 to 3 hours, or until the battery status light turns off.
NOTE: You can use your keyboard while it charge"

However, the problem that I am having is that even though the keyboard has been plugged in via USB for over a day, the battery status light is still plusating green and has not turned off to indicate that the battery is fully charged.

Does this indicate that the keyboard has some battery issues or other people experiencing the same issue of the of the green status light constantly blinking while the keyboard is plugged in.

Any help would be highly appreciated. I just bought this today and would like to know if I have to seek a replacement.

Thanks

Brokebroker83 from the sounds of it the battery is defective and not charging.I've only had my K811 about a month and if I recall it only took about 1 hour to charge the keyboard and the battery status blinking green light to go off.I've been using the wireless keyboard on the same original battery charge since 3/17

Did you purchase it from amazon ? Sucks to have ordered something only to have it not work.......I love mine and being able to see the backlit keys without having to turn on a light to see the keyboard and the ability to use the bluetooth keyboard to text on my iPhone works great.

Thanks for the swift reply.

The weird thing is that now the battery charge light has finally gone off....Deffinitely took a LOT longer than the suggested 3 hours for a full charge.

So I think you might be right on the mark in suggesting that there might be something up with the battery.

Oh I only wish I had purchased this from Amazon. They make it so easy to deal with all issues. Sadly I went with Staples on this one...lets see what happens...I'll give there customer service a call tomorrow.

I do have another question for you. Do you have any issues when logging from a fresh restart.

I have a password..however I am unable to enter it as the Keyboard doesnt work. It works fine after I have logged in —*though this means having a usb keyboard around just for that little bit!!

Do you have a similar issue?

Thanks

If Staples won't take care of you, try contacting Logitech...they've been excellent in the past when I had warranty issues with mice (but that was a few years ago).

Have this exact same issue, on my second one. I just can't find a keyboard that is better soI am doomed to just keep re buying these for life. why is this keyboard never updated.
