I have this program that blocks adult content I may want to remove off my Computer how do I do this thanks I was told to slide the program to trash it will uninstall but I am new to this mac G 5 flat screen unit thanks.:confused:
 
I hit k 9 and it found the program in the search area.it says to uninstall so do it ? :D I clicked on the dog part were pic is and it gave me options to set stuff up and how to set to allow programs to be used for a certin time. but when I clicked the dog with x on it thats the uninstall thing thanks

For most apps, simply dragging the app to the Trash is sufficient to uninstall it. Some apps which use an installer package also have an uninstaller package. In either case, most apps leave behind files and folders related to the app, which mostly only take up disk space. If disk space is a concern, the most effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:
