Karaoke Query?

Hi guys
I've just bought a karaoke system and lots of CD+G discs for a NYE party.
What i want to do is get all the discs onto my MacBook Pro and link it to the karaoke player so i can pick songs from a on screen playlist instead of having to keep changing discs.
I will still require the lyrics to be on a external screen which will be wired to the karaoke player.
So my two questions…..

1. How do i get the songs and lyrics onto my Mac
2. What do i need to link the Mac to the Karaoke player.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to proceed?

Unfortunately, there is no real way to get it to work - CD + G isn’t something that computers are designed to support - the most you will ever really get is just the music - there isn’t a way for the lyrics to display
