Being a big fan of Anker products and a customer for a number of years, occasionally, they will offer me the chance to review their products. And, I usually post my thoughts here as the products I use are normally compatible with iOS devices. That said, I will share my thoughts first about the Karapax Breeze Case for the iPhone 7/8.

Anker says that the Breeze case has a unique 3D texture for rock-solid grip and enhanced comfort. I will agree that while the back of the case is smooth feeling, it is at the same time very grippy and slip resistant in hand.

The case has a polycarbonate metallic frame that slips on like a bumper over the TPU case. The frame enhances the edge protection of the case, and the case has raised edges to protect the camera and the screen should you lay your phone screen side down. All of the button and speaker cutouts appear to be very precise and line up well all around the phone. Anker says the case offers Military-grade protection without compromising the phone's slim appearance, i would agree that the case does look slim. Not quite as slim as the very similar looking Spigen Neo-Hybid case which is a good comparison example, but thin and sleek looking nonetheless. For comparison purposes I have included some side by side pictures below.

All in all this is a very nice case for the money. At $7.99, it's a bargain. And it has a better everyday price point than the Spigen case it closely resembles. And, it has Anker's 18 month warranty. So, if you are in the market for a slim case that makes your phone and case seem like 1 piece, this is a great bet for you. Normally I roll with a little more protection, but for occasions when I want a more formal and sleek look, I have nice looking option.

Anker says is it is a white bulb. But I would say the color is more a soft white bulb ala a standard bulb vs. a LED. I like the color better than the more bluish white typical of most LED bulbs.

The bulb can be dimmed, but not tuned like it's slightly more expensive cousin in Eufy's line up. The bulb is easy to setup and connect to WIFI via Eufy's Home app available from the app store. You can control the brightness of the bulb via the app on your iPhone or iPad using the app, or you can control it via an Alexa device by enabling the Eufy Home skill.

My experience with the bulb is that it puts out a nice soft white hue and is very responsive to Alexa commands and to the iOS apps. We also tested the "Away" function while out of town. This function allows you to have the light turn on during certain hours while the light randomly "shuts off" during those hours. Our neighbor confirmed that the light functioned as desired while we were gone for couple of nights.

I would say that if you are in the market for a solid smart bulb with the basic tricks, this is great deal. At $19.99, it's very competitively priced and comes an 18 month warranty.
