So I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem.

I have Kaspersky internet security on my macbook, and have had since it was running 10.8. For as long as I can remember, having Kaspersky switched on causes software update, whether through the apple icon or the App Store to produce a "could not connect" error.

Likewise, I often get Safari pages just stopping after loading halfway with the infamous "could not load page" error. I figured this was just an OSX problem, but turning Kaspersky off solves it instantly while all other apps like utorrent are unaffected.

What's more, I've not had these problems once in my Yosemite install which doesn't have any internet security installed.

Anyone had this problem? I'm curious if it's just me going insane.
