that's a good perk of being celeb, you get to use nice shiny stuff for FREE.
Isn't that odd, the way 'it' works? The more money you have the more things you seem to get for free (specifically referring to celebrities).
Millions of dollars worth of free publicity by giving a watch that costs under $2,000 to make to a celebrity.
Mmmmmmmm look at that... Oh yeah -the watch also!

I'm not talking about from Apple's end or even from a consumer's end. I'm just saying life, in general.
Very smart of them! Wearables have gone mainstream today. You'll be seeing these watches everywhere in a few months.

It looks good on her. I can't say I'm envious though. I've come to prefer even the Sport to any of the Editions. I've really gotten away from wearing gold watches during the last few years that I was wearing watches.
I got the sport too so I can save up for the iPhone 7 in September.
why such an awful watch face? I really hope that mickey mouse one isnt loaded standard and can be deleted.
I don't know about that. This is more of a luxury device than many of Apple's recent products. The iPad, for example, can be used as a very intuitive and practical supplement to work and education. Sure, you can get the same work done on a desktop, but it has more (subjectively) productive usage. The Apple Watch is definitely just a luxury extension of the devices you already own, in my opinion, and thus I assume a fair amount of people won't find a way to 'make' themselves be able to afford it.
I'm not sure I'm competently verbalizing what I mean, but it's just my opinion.

Why is Apple giving them away to the only people who can afford a $10K+ watch?
