I just bought one to tide me over until Switcheasy releases a Cover Buddy for the iPad Air. The Kayscase is OK but it doesn't cover well. Large opening at the bottom and poor coverage around the Smart Cover

It didn't come across as that wide to me at first but you're right it is pretty big. I wanted something really light and barely there just to guard against scratches on the bezel. I have been going naked and today noticed a couple good visible chips across the bezel near the edge of the screen.

The search continues....

The Switcheasy Coverbuddy is an excellent rear cover. Thin, light and great coverage.
Hopefully the release it soon
