Keep folders arranged?

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to keep my folders arranged by 'date modified' permanently?
I keep finding when go back in everything's a mess again!

Use list view and sort by date modified.

 

[Mal]

View -> Show View Options.

Arrange By -> Date Modified.

"Set as Default"

Done.

So, you were just arranging using a right click?

That permits you to rearrange "on the fly" without changing the folder's default arrangement. They did that on purpose.
