Keep getting an update available message, no update there

I keep getting an update notification but when I check there is no update available.
What the dizzle?

Other users including myself of macOS 14.6 & 14.6.1 have this erroneous "Updates Available" system notification.

dunno - but same problem here on my 2019 MBP... - at least I feel more sane knowing I'm not the only one!

I've seen reports that a lot of people have this issue
