Hi there, I keep getting start-up disk full messages and prompts to close programs, otherwise the computer freezes or crashes.

I have 50 GB of free space after deleting a whole load of stuff. I've followed numerous troubleshoots, but most involve freeing up space.

I'm confused by this, because I can sometimes have a few programs running, but sometimes I get messages when I just have word on the go.

I need to be able to run word, excel, photoshop and the internet concurrently. I never used to have a problem.

Computer freezed again with just internet and word running whilst writing this message!

Thanks very much for your help!

Thanks for getting back so quick. I have, i've also followed a troubleshoot for 'Clean up system logs and temporary files', and downloaded a program called Anacron.

Still nothing. I've got loads of space, that shouldn't be the problem

I'm running Tiger, these are my specs if it helps

Total Number Of Cores: 2
