Phone delivered 10:15AM on 24th.

Phone activated 11:50AM on the 24th.

Phone dropped out of shirt pocket while throwing a friends shoe onto the roof of a house from a strip club parking lot at 11:25PM on the 24th.

Bumper arrived 1:30PM on the 25th.

:(

I can hardly look at it now... I am so bummed.

I wish the bumper covered it a bit more so I wouldn't have to fight back tears when using the phone.

fret not, a co-worker dropped his w/a bumper and it still chipped, not as bad as yours but it still chipped. reconsidering bumper...

At least you didn't throw the phone on the roof and put the shoe in your pocket..... :D

Maybe cut back on the drinking.... ;)

Did the person whose shoe you threw laugh at you?

Heartily. He was happy to give up his favorite pair of shoes (the other one went out the window later that night) to see the look of pain and sorrow on my face, lol.

My wife dropped hers the first day I gave it to her. It dropped about 4 ft. to concrete but survived without a scratch. I guess she got lucky. I need to order her a case but the selection is limited still. Just went to best buy and at&t.. not much choice yet.

Ordered a new front panel assembly off ebay for 69 bucks. Then ordered the tools iFixIt recommended in their replacement walk through.

Added bonus? ITS WHITE!!

Hopefully I end up with a pristine white/black iPhone4

All we are is just dust in the wind, dude." (reference to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and that Kansas song)

No putting it in open shirt pockets for that phone anymore! Unless it wants more battle scars. You can always replace the glass on eBay. I got a cousin who doesn't really give a ---- on how to take care of his phone. He once got a phone for Christmas and dropped it on my driveway the night he got it. He now has a 3G iPhone with shattered glass on the bottom corners. Still uses it.

I like that analogy I read earlier. If you drop Megan Fox accidently while carrying her or she slipped and fell on her bottom, you still will find a use with her that night, right? Same with phones. Drop it, but if it isn't broken, who cares? Just keep on using it. Being OCD is for wussies. Might as well live in a bubble and as a hermit.

hey

just wait till apple has replacements, and say its dropping calls it shouldnt be an issue its just glass the internals are fine and if an associate gives you a hard time get a manager or call customer service
