Im having issues with my Iphone 4 home button. Its not responding well anymore.

I currently have 4.3.3 untethered jailbreak. I have saved all my SHSH blobs with tiny umbrella from 4.2.1

If Apple gives me a new phone, (probably with the latest IOS 4.3.5) will I be able to downgrade to 4.3.3 and get my untethered jailbreak back?

Thanks for the help guys

No. SHSH blobs are device specific. You cannot use your blobs with a new phone.

Damn, I'm in the same boat.:(

Home button is doing my nut.... but I really don't want to lose my JB. Shows how useful Jailbreaking has been to me.

For the dodgy home button thing try hoovering/vacuuming the dock connector, there's a thread about how dust buildup underneath it can cause problems.

I thought the same thing last week when I needed to replace my phone for a home button problem. To my surprise they brought out a white with 4.3.3!

Im going to try to bring it in this week to get replaced, hopefully I get a phone with 4.3.3 and they don't do the update at the store.

anyone have any luck recently with getting a new phone from the genius bar with a low firmware?

thanks
