I am using the Bookmark Bar in Safari but I have noticed that it disappeared and all the Bookmarks were gone. I added it again and they were gone again a day or so later.

does anyone know whats going on here?

You may be hiding it either with the keyboard shortcut or the menu option.

The keyboard shortcut to show/hide the bookmark bar is: command+Shift+B

Other than that you would have to be clicking View->Show Bookmarks Bar, or View->Hide Bookmarks Bar, which you would be aware of though.

Restarting Safari should have no effect on the visibility of bookmarks.

If you are sure you are not doing either of these, we have to do more research into the issue...

Hopefully I understood you correctly, or are you actually losing all your saved bookmarks items each time where you have to re-add them?

Yes I have losted all my saved bookmarks which were in the bookmark bar folder under collections.

I use to be able to see all bookmarks in the bar by following. Bookmarks-show all bookmarks- and under collections they were located in the bookmark bar folder
I have 6-7 folders on the bar with a few sites in each folder.
The bar is not hidden
