Keep losing default program association?

Not sure why this has started happening but I noticed that when I was downloading .dmg files and going to open them they would open in Disk Utility so I changed them to open in Disk Image Mounter and ticked the Always open with box and pressed the change all button so all .dmg files would open with it.

This worked for a while but then it would lose it again and start opening them with Disk Utility again. I have done the change all thing a few times now but this keeps on happening.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Try pulling com.apple.LaunchServices.plist from ~/Library/Preferences and then log out or restart. Note that this will reset all of the file associations back to default.
