The save battery, I keep the brightness level low, but when I watch a movie in iPod mode, it is too dim. Anyway to keep the brightness high during video playback or change it in video playback mode without exiting and ging to settings?

only way i can think of is if there is a jailbreak app out there that does it, but i dont think there is. sorry.
Turn auto-brightness on, and turn the brightness down.
It will auto adjust to the lights in the room. That's the closest you are gonna get.

I have it on. It is as unpredictiable as the stock market.
