Keep Verizon iPhone and go where?

My friend is considering getting out of her Verizon contract and she wants to keep her iPhone 4s and switch to one of those $45 all inclusive deals on a prepaid plan. What's her best option?

She has to get the 4S unlocked 1st. I'd suggest H2O or ST because they use AT&T's network over TMos and you will get much better reliability and coverage.

Straight talk. You can use Verizon phones(any phone that isn't LTE or Blackberry) on Straight Talk

Also, without a grevy sim you aren't going to be able to use the SIM card slot with US gsm(sim card based) carriers.
