I have a Mac Mini running Sierra v10.12.5 and Server v5.3.1 (all the latest versions). I connect to shares on this server to access files from two different computers, as well as sometimes on the Mini itself. The two computers are also both running Sierra v10.12.5.

When I open, resize and position a Finder window on a share from the server on, say, the iMac, and then later open that same window on, say, the MacBook Air, the window has the size and position of the settings made on the iMac. I then change the size and position of the window on the MacBook Air to suit it's screen size. Now, when I go back to the first computer - the iMac - the window has the position from the settings made on the MacBook.

My question therefore is how can window sizes be individualised for each Mac?

I want the Finder window on the iMac to always be where I set it last time, and I want the same window to remain how it was set on the MacBook.

Any suggestions?

TIA
