keep windows "Always on top"?

How do I keep certain applications/windows to be "Always on top"? I am able to do this on Windows XP with applications such as http://www.veridicus.com/tummy/programming/powermenu/

I'm not sure you can do it on an OS level. It would seem to be an app-specific feature.

You can...

Download Application Enhancer

Then

Download the 'Always on Top' module.

After you've installed the module (basically double click!) log out and then back in. Now, whenever you press the green circle (as in "grow") at the top of any window, it'll stay on top.
