Hi everyone,

I want to wipe my phone because I have a huge chunk of memory in the "other" section from a past jailbreak, and I just want a clean slate for iOS7.

I was wondering if there was a way to recover my iCloud contacts onto my device after restoring it and setting it up as a new device. I don't care that my photos, messages, emails, user settings, etc. will be gone from my device and iCloud. I just want to maintain my iCloud contacts because they are tied into my Macbook, and I would like them to be synced to my phone.

Thanks for the help.

Just restore your phone and sign into iCloud after the setup is done. You should be able to sync your contacts.

I tried to do this when upgrading my 4S to ios7 but couldnt seem to get it to work.

Is there a way to have only your contacts downloaded after setting up as a new phone? Or a way to pick and choose what you want to be downloaded?
