Keeping Dashboard Refreshed Automatically

I hate having to wait for dashboard to refresh all of the widgets when i haven't activated dashboard in a while. Is there any program or way to keep the dashboard refreshed automatically?

I think I remember reading about a program or method a while back, but I have been unable to find it now that I've decided I would like it. :rolleyes:
