I tried searching for this, but it is pretty difficult to find the proper search terms on this one. I haven't jailbroken in over 2 years, so bare with me please.
Say I jailbreak my iPhone right now. Then iOS 5 comes along in a June-September timeframe. If I decide that I want those new features before a new jb comes along, is there a way to simply remove the jailbreak but KEEP everything else (text messages, app data, etc) or would I need to restore from a backup from before I jailbroke?
I know that if I later decide to re-jailbreak there is now some simple way to find/redownload all your previous jb apps (how is this done?), but would all that data be saved or would I basically have to restart everything?
Thanks
