Keeping email "new" on home computer after checking on iPhone

Hi there -

I have things set up so that I can check email at home on my laptop AND on my iPhone.

Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to keep those emails on my laptop "NEW" even though I've checked them on my iPhone?

Do you need to do this for certain messages (so you remember to look @ them later), or universally for all emails?

On an individual basis, just mark the particular ones "unread".

On a general basis, probably not unless you use POP3 instead of IMAP as your email interface on the home computer. That's not really ideal though.
