Is keeping the magsafe plugged into the laptop most of the time bad for the battery for the MBA?

I know my MBP's battery has been replaced for that very reason. I never knew keeping it plugged in would be a problem as I assumed the battery would stop taking power when fully charged, so now I sometimes keep my new battery out.

But with the MBA, the battery is built in, and I don't know whether I should be unplugging it or not.

It doesn't hurt the battery to keep it on the charger after it has reached full charge. The computer charging circuitry will stop adding charge after the battery is fully charged.

However, what WILL kill your battery is not using it! You should periodically use the computer on battery power, even draining it fully occasionally to keep the battery chemistry active. Leaving it on the power supply continuously and never using the battery will drastically shorten the life of your battery.
