Keeping my AW5 worthwhile to add AppleCare?

I am keeping my AW5 I bought but I am considering for once to add AppleCare+.
A clock is exposed and could be easily damaged and also if my battery gets bad in 2nd year it would be replaced I assume.
What is your take on AppleCare for the watch?

Worth it, if only to get a refurb at the end of the warranty and sell it or keep it.

How is that possible without breaking it?
