So I started school a few weeks ago, and we do everything (literally) on the computer. Homework, assignments, etc.

Is there any program out there where I can put in my homework (so like tasks), and then it will keep that notification there until I have completed it.

I have tried to do this in iCal and Mail, but it's not working how I want it to. My homework is there, but it doesn't give me a indication anywhere that I have homework to do.

This would also be great for tests.

If anyone knows of any program, then please let me know. (Free or not)

Howdy. iCal will do what you want. As you set the task, you can double click it and it will give you the option to set an alarm (time or lapsed time).

I use Alarm Clock Pro for something similar to this, my alarms go off the day something is do. Otherwise I use iCal, and have it play at specific times prior to due date, which are also set on my phone.

yeh i think the developer know's is really buggy. Hopefully it'll get better. I think there are other student diary type software out there google "student diary os x"

Other options for more comprehensive usage than iProcrastinate would be Circus Ponies' Notebook (version 3.0 just released) or Yojimbo by Bare Bones software.

These are both excellent organizational programs, but aren't geared as exclusively toward the timeline completion of homework/schoolwork as iProcrastinate and may be more than you need. On the other hand, if you are looking for one stop shopping for organization for your life, these might be more on point (or some combination of the software).
