Is there any way I can keep my NAS connection to my MacBook Pro active, even when not in use.
I currently have my iTunes data stored on my NAS ( Thecus N4100+ ) and for some reason, after a period of inactivity, the NAS connection logs out ( it still shows up in Finder, but I have to log back in ).
This means if I want to stream to my Apple TV, I have to got to my MacBook, open Finder, click on the NAS in the left hand column and then 'Login As' which can be a pain.
I can't find a setting on the Thecus that would suggests it 'sleeps', so I'm hoping there's something within OS X I can do ??
TIA
