I use Audiograbber to create MP3's from my CD's. The file name created is in the form = artist-album-track number-track name. I then drag them to iTunes to keep them organized and for playback. iTunes, for some reason, strips the "artist-album-track number" portion of the file name and leaves only "track name" on my hard drive. I want iTunes to keep the whole file name intact. One way to do this: edit / preferences / advanced / general - uncheck "keep iTunes music folder organized". The problem with this setting is that if I change the track name while in iTunes, it doesn't change the actual file name on my hard drive as well. If I check "keep iTunes music folder organized", it will change the file name on the hard drive, but then iTunes strips the "artist-album-track number" portion and only leaves the "track name". I want both: keep the file name totally intact, and modify the name on my hard drive whenever I alter the track name. Am I asking for too much? HELP!
