This is my neighbour's house behind me. I suppose I could put some roadwork signs on my roof too, but I haven't quite figured out the 'why' yet.

maybe they're having a party and it's the 'adult' equivalent of putting balloons on the front door.

Could be retaliation for the pink flamingos on your lawn.

I think flashy lights and crap on the roof trumps ugly plastic lawn art. ;)

Um...doesn't three out of the four of those things have the words "Block Party" on them?

So either
a. Someone put them up as a prank and folks will be going up there to look for a party, won't find one, get angry, and speed away...
b. There IS a block party that's going to happen over there...so have the police on speed dial or get yourself over there to party! :D

Anyone get an evite or find a Myspace blog with "Dude, come and party at my house! Look for the house with the four "block party" flashing construction barriers on it! Plenty of beer!"

Sounds like an interesting weekend....

I agree with the above, this must be a prewarning of a very legitimate party that is in the works.

Though, the college student in me agrees that this is a most excellent prank. Keep us posted. :D

Wow, that isn't an eyesore. That is so weird though.

My ex-neighbors were CRAZY, the finally moved to Arizona to retire. We live in a pretty rural area, on a private coldesac that no one ever drives down except the residents, the mail man, the garbage man, and the plow man. For some reason these crazy old people put up painted orange stakes that had "no trespassing" signs on every third one. It was absolutely bizzare. They lived across the street from us and we never went on their lawn, nor did we ever see any other people on their lawn. So one day my mom (who was very angry about it because it was weird an an eyesore) and another mom on my street went over to the peoples house, ripped the signs out of the ground, and threw them on their doorstep. I am sooo glad they moved...
