I Switched Keith Richards

Back in another life, I switched KR. When I was a reseller (circa 1995), I got a referral to his management firm (his, not the Stones). Sold them a bunch of Quadras to bring their office into the 20th century. Part of the deal was I did some training with them in exchange for autographed Stones CDs and concert tickets.

I met KR one day while in the office. He was a super nice guy and talked to me for 15 minutes and gave my some autographed CDs.

Several weeks later, I got an order for a PowerBook for him. Seems he loved the Macs and was actually able to use them. He hated his Toshiba laptop. Sadly, no training with him.

It would certainly be ironic if after his years of defiant drug abuse he were to die from falling out of a tree. Reminds me of the 5 times russian ice racing champion motorbike rider who died while walking through his front doorway. He tripped and fell awkwardly.
