Got it for $15 as something to use in between the Surf Blue OEM folio I have, and the magic keyboard
Pros:
vol buttons and power button super clicky (lots of TPU iPad cases can be stiff and a dud in this regard)
pretty light weight
lip
grippy sides
excellent cut outs for speakers, mic, etc.
no external pencil holder that adds bulk and extra size to the tablet
Cons:
slight lip bulge when charging but does not require force to get the plug in, just an aesthetic thing since the lip is thin and flexible
weird fold widths of smart cover that make the iPad stand up vertically more than a laid back position with Folio. I kinda like it but it can fall over more easily since less tilted I suppose
Smart Cover is slightly bigger than front part of iPad which can be good to flip it open easily but looks weird a little (see the last photo)
Smart Cover doesnt stick to the back magnetically like it would with the folio , but it works with the front and puts device in sleep mode, wakes it, etc.
Could not test pencil functionality but looks like it would drop in there nicely. Nice place to rest my finger holding the thing
Overall pretty happy. Almost exactly what I was setting out to get, hard to find something of this style that met all the criteria - especially no poking out pencil holder I hate that
