Hey folks - is there a way to reach Kensington’s customer support in EU via email or web-form? Seems they have only a phone number here, available only when I’m at work.
I have multiple issues with a brand new SD5700T when used with a MBP 14” M1 Max (64Gb, 2Tb):
- External SSDs randomly disconnects. This happens also when connected to a 2017 iMac i9, so sleep is not the issue.
- Universal Audio Apollo interfaces simply don’t work with Logic (hangs at startup, but it boots correctly if I connect them directly to the MBP)
- Dock reboots when trying to flash the firmware of a connected USB device (Kemper Profiler)
- Got random MIDI notes from a keyboard connected via USB (Arturia KeyLab 49 mkII)
Anybody in professional audio: any suggestion for a dock working with UAD stuff? I guess I’ll need to send this one back.
