Kensington Ultra Thin Privacy Screen: How effective at reducing glare?

I hate glossy screens but that is all that is available on MBPs. So how effective is the Kensington utra-thin privacy screen (no, don't care about privacy) at reducing glare and what is the effect on clarity and color?
