I bought my mates ibook G4 and I'm trying to wipe it and re-install Tiger. But when i put in the Tiger disk(DVD origanal copy) and hold down C it causes a kernel panic with a hold bunch of error reports (at the bottom it says "we hang here'' or somthing bizzar like that.
I tryed some othe Tiger disks (Cd x4) and it started installing ok but the first cd was scratched so i didnt get to far with that.
Does anyone know whats up with this Tiger DVD?? how come it causes a kernel panic?? ive tryed another copyed DVD but it won't recognize that at all not even a kernal panic.
