Ive been having an issue with my MBP for a couple of weeks now. Whenever Im doing something that loads the CPU or GPU the system crashes and restarts. Sometimes it will happen right after rebooting and other times will not do out for days. im hesitant to blame a hardware issue just yet without more information. I have done a PRAM and SMC reset and that didn't help either. diagnostics didn't find anything wrong either. ive posted the kernel panic log to see what everyone thinks.

Is the machine the 2016 15" MBP, 2.9 i7, 460, 16GB, 1TB you have listed in your sig? It might be good to mention what version of macOS you're running.

You might try to determine if the panics are correlated to internal temperatures -- maybe cooling capacity has diminished over time due to internal dust, etc.

In the panic reports, is it always "Process name corresponding to current thread ...snip... : assistantd" ? If so, that could be a clue. Probably not, though.

I doubt the rest of the panic report will be very useful. Drawing on my long-past programming days, the "Invalid queue element linkage.." message is probably related to a data structure (in memory) -- like a linked-list. Not much help.

sorry I meant to include that information. It is the MBP in my signature, running macOS Monterey. I reran a diagnostic and now im getting a ppm004 error which points to a failing memory chip which would explain the issues. Its not temps as I monitor those frequently and ive repasted in the last six months. I think its just a 8 year old machine starting to fail haha

Do you use SMB shares?
UVCService seems to be related to the video camera.

I have a Mac mini that serves as a SMB share but Ive disconnected that to see if that's the issue, camera wise the only one I have is the webcam on my monitor which is never used. ive traced the issue down to a memory issue I think. if I keep the usage down its fine but as soon as I do something memory intensive it crashes.
