I have a problem with my G4 933mhz running os 10.2.8.
After installing 10.2.8 I started getting kernel panics when my FireWire audio interface was switched on. I sorted the problem by upgrading the drivers for it but now a kernel panic occurs when i try to shut down, every time.
This is annoying and i've no idea how to fix it. It does it whether my external hardware is on or off and means I have to hold the power button down to shut down.
Is this doing any harm to my computer?
Any advice as to how I can sort this problem would be a big help.
