Im trying to fix my kernel panic. I started a post at the apple discussion.

I just recently encountered a "kernel panic". when ever i try and turn my computer on, the apple logo comes up and the spin wheel thing goes but a dark gray box pops up and says i need to restart my computer in 3-4 lanages. I read the forums and it told me to run a hardware test by inserting my mac osx disc 1, restart my computer, and press and hold the "D" key until the screen flashes. I ran that test and it found no problems next step was to restart the computer and press and hold "C" to run disk utility. I did that and it found the problem and fixed it.

I went back to play World of warcraft and the pixels went all over my screen. then froze. nothing moved not even the mouse. restarted my computer and i get kernel panic again. ran the Hardware test (Press and hold the "D"key) found no problems. then tried to run the disk utility by pressing and holding "c"but nothing pops up. after a while it goes to the grey kernel panic box telling me to restart the computer. I even press and held the option key to select the CD as the start up. still nothing but the grey box.

Now i have no idea what to do. i cant even reinstall the OS.( i have all my important data backed up). is there another way to restore my computer.

Also i forgot to mention i tried safe boot but that doesnt work. it brings up the grey box.

Can i restore my computer thought the fsck system?
