Pop your system disc in, reboot, and hold D. Run the Apple Hardware Test.

i got a kernel panic when i replaced the memory in my macbook.
When you attempt to boot up, does it make a LONG series of beeps and fail to bootup?

Id try the hardware check.

second kernel panic this week :(

Ok never post anything twice because I sit here and write an actual long response and some mod comes around and closes it as I try to hit "post".

If you are using any external keyboard/mouse/hard drive you'll want to unplug them one at a time and see if that fixes the issue. I can't decipher the code enough to actually tell what the true issue is, but you may have to do a bit of triage on the machine. Second, you could try turning off any scripts you have running (screen savers you installed, iStat, geektools) things that aren't standard on the machine. For starters, if you so choose, you can reinstall the OS. It could be just a bad install. It happens ... in macs too.

If all else fails, since it appears to be a new machine, you could take it into Apple and see what they say. However, try to see if you're using anything on the machine or running any apps that may have caused the conflict of sorts.

ok, i will never make like that...

thanks, i think thats my problem...i didn't unplug my printer and my pendrive before the second kernel happen..

i don't want this happen again :( :(

Is there any overheating going on or the fans running at rather higher speeds than normal? As others have said you need to insert your install disc (1) and repair permissions, then repair disk, then reset PRAM. It's really difficult to determine the cause of kernel panics, but where you'll have one, surely you'll have two and maybe three. It's also difficult to determine whether it's software or hardware related. Give AppleCare a call and stop-by the Apple Store, b/c kernel panics don't repair themselves and go away...

*Anyone else concerned that this thread should be in the MBP Forum?

You didn't, by any chance, install a little package that purports to help you jailbreak an iPhone on Mac OS X 10.5.6?

no, i don't have iphone

i already try to repair permissions and reset pram. and fans run normal, not higher than 2000rpm...just default didn't use smcfancontrol....

i make the new thread last night, MOD locked it in 2 minutes.... :(

any other suggestion ?....

whats the problem until i get the kernel panic, i don't know, so its difficult to explain this problem to my store... :D

thanks all...

didn't found any error, after testing the hardware :(

Did you try an extended hardware test? The default options for hardware test do not do very thorough memory tests and could easily miss the problem. If there are no problems reported with an extended hardware test then you should try reinstalling Mac OS X.

My MacBook kernel panicked once when I attached an ext. HDD that got messed up because disk utility froze in the middle of partitioning it :(
