Here
I just updated to 10.9.4 and have already had 2 crashes.

Both times I was listening to iTunes while editing PDFs saved in OneDrive.

Any of you experience this?

I haven't had another one since the two back to back ones.

I reset PRAM though.

Exact same problem on an early 1023 MBP. Crashed twice while listening to iTunes and working in Photoshop.

I haven't had another one since the two back to back ones.

I reset PRAM though.

I also reset the PRAM but it came back. Only happens with iTunes play music.

Strange...I noticed that too. When my system crashed both times iTunes was the first thing to stop, but I dismissed it as I just didn't think Apple's own player would cause it.

Also, after the first pram reset I got my second crash, I reset it again and haven't had any more.....yet.

Multiple crashes, kernel panics and freezes here since updating to 10.9.4.

2012 rMBP, 16GB, 2.6GHz i7.

Not happy.

Google it. Find and download 10.9.4 combo. And install it

Thanks. Crashes/freezes continued despite the software surgery. Took it to Genius Bar; they think it's hardware related. Waiting for the repair now (under AppleCare). Fortunately I have a spare Mac, ordinarily deployed as a server, which I can use for my work in the mean time.

Before doing anything * FIRST DO A BACK-UP * so your files can be restored later on. Have you made a back-up of the good working OS X 10.9.3 that you can restore?

Always good advice. Thanks, yes, I have backups.

Good for you and nice to know the issue is hardware and is being fixed now! Cheers
