I've been noticing that whenever I quickly pull out my headphones or speakers from my MacBook I get a kernel panic. I know this shouldn't be happening. What can I do to fix this? What is possibly wrong? Thanks.

it happens no matter what programs i'm running. but i firefox, itunes, adium are the programs that I always have running if that matters.

Analog audio or USB audio? USB devices tend to cause kernel panics sometimes, but I've not heard of audio products doing that. Try muting the sound before u remove them. It's probably trying to use them rather than looking for them and switching.
